Tule Springs - . Indian populations drank from this spring, and prospectors also stopped here. Later, Tule Springs was a watering hole for the horse drawn Bullfrog Stage Line on it's route to the mining community of Rhyolite. Now, Tule Springs has become a picnic area for Las Vegans.

Tule Springs - remained undeveloped until December 7, 1941, when Jacob Goumond decided that he would build a ranch and a private retreat for his friends. Goumond later decided that he should take advantage of the liberal divorce laws in Nevada and build a dude ranch for prospective divorcees. The ranch, shown partly in this photo, could accommodate 10-12 guests waiting out their short residency requirement.
