Joy Prom is an annual event for teenagers and adults with cognitive and physical impairments. The M Casino has sponsored the prom for the past 10 years. Dates volunteer to accompany each guest for the evening. They along with volunteer photographers, make up artists, hair stylists, entertainers, and shoe shiners help each guest celebrate a prom that they might have otherwise missed. JOY PROM Las Vegas is a full-scale, prom for teenagers and adult individuals with cognitive and physical impairments, where every guest is celebrated and accepted. The invited guests are hosted complimentary. The experience recognizes the individual guest first and then their disability, while providing a positive environment free of judgment or negativity.
